Hi Ruchama. My response relates to what you wrote in that it is in the same spirit as your comment. Having comprehension difficulties? I suggest you use a dictionary, or better still, an Atlas. I recommend these:

1. Atlas of Palestine, 1917-1966: This comprehensive atlas provides detailed maps addressing the causes, consequences, and possible outcomes of the conflict, particularly focusing on Palestinian refugees.

2. Atlas of Palestine 1871-1877: Documenting the state of Palestinian maps, towns, and populations prior to Zionist colonization, this atlas is historically significant.

3. Atlas of Palestine 1948: Based on historic maps, aerial photographs, and detailed charts, this atlas reconstructs Palestine during the British Mandate period.

These were all created by the Palestinian historian and cartographer Salman Abu Sitta. The word "cartographer" means a person who creates maps. They use various techniques to represent geographical features, boundaries, and spatial relationships on paper or digital formats. Cartographers play a crucial role in visualizing and communicating information about the Earth's surface.
